Coloring order

Begin with the tall bamboo stalks on the left, the mountain peaks behind, the waterfall and wooden bridge on the right, and the stream between the rocks, using greens, sky blue and brown.
Color Bamburo's body a warm russet, the face, chest and belly cream, and alternate russet and cream on each ring of the striped tail.
Color the segmented horns and wing bones bamboo yellow and the layered leaves on the neck, back and tail jade green and lime. There are many leaves, so feel free to split them over two or three sessions.

Can you find every part of Bamburo that looks like bamboo?
How is the sound of a stream different from the sound of a waterfall?

Take it further

Cut many long leaves from green paper and layer them to make Bamburo's leafy mane, then compare how the shape changes when you overlap them in different directions.
