Activity guide for this page
- Recommended age
- Ages 5–8
- Estimated time
- 20–30 min
- Difficulty
- Medium
- Areas to color
- about 60
Coloring order
- Color the body and sleeves of Pippin the aviator bunny's bomber jacket first. A brown leather look, like the reference, fits well.
- Make the fluffy fleece on the collar and cuffs cream, and color the scarf sky blue all the way to the end that flutters in the wind.
- Last come the flying cap with ears poking out, the two goggle lenses on the forehead and the little propeller plane in his paw.
Questions to talk about
- Where might Pippin imagine flying with his toy plane?
- Looking at the scarf, which way is the wind blowing?
- Have you ever ridden in a plane or watched one in the sky?
Take it further
Fold paper airplanes, write Pippin's name on the wings, and see whose plane flies the farthest.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
