Coloring order

  1. Start with the thick cloth Paul is stitching, his red robe and dark beard, and color the cloth stripe by stripe in alternating colors.
  2. Color the head cloths and clothes of the two young men watching with smiles, and the rolled cloth on the right, in different colors.
  3. Take your time finishing the shelf and basket on the left, the arch, the ships in the harbor and the building on the hill, small spaces last.

Questions to talk about

  • What do you think Paul is making with his needle and thread?
  • What might the two friends working beside him be asking?
  • What is something you have made with your own hands?

Take it further

Acts 18 says Paul made tents with friends in Corinth. Drape a big cloth over chairs to make a small tent and have a reading time inside.

Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
