Coloring order
- Color the 911 Turbo (930)'s round roof, bulging hood and wide, flared rear fenders in one color first.
- Alternate light and dark for the two big round headlights, the two small square lamps below and the broad front bumper.
- Last, color the wide tray-like wing at the rear, the vertical air vent in front of the rear wheel and the wheel spokes.
Questions to talk about
- The wing at the back looks like a tray. What would you put on it?
- With two round eyes and two square eyes, what face does this car have?
- Have you ever walked past a puddle on a rainy day?
Take it further
Tape a paper plate flat on the back of a toy car as a tray-shaped wing and talk about how the car looks with and without it.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
