Color Aurevault's body and wing bones golden yellow, the wing panels, mane and spiky back fringe burgundy, and the round bands on the belly cream.
Finish with the big gem on the tail tip in emerald, the treasure chest in brown wood with gold trim, and the coins in the chest and on the floor in yellow.

Questions to talk about

How do you think Aurevault collected all this treasure?
How many coins are lying on the floor? Can you count them?
What treasure is special to you, and where would you hide it?

Take it further

Decorate a small box like a treasure chest, fill it with paper coins and gems, and tell your family the story of the treasure.

Printing and coloring tips

Print on A4 or Letter in portrait to keep the original proportions.
Keep the finished version open beside you while you color.
Use slightly heavier paper with water-based markers so the ink shows through less.
Fill the large areas first and leave the small ones for later.
The finished version is only a suggestion. Any colors you like will work.
