Coloring order
- Start with Taeo's hard hat, vest and trousers, splitting the big areas between yellow, blue and khaki.
- Color the rolled-up blueprints and the long ruler in his hands in a paper color and a wood color so they look different.
- Finish with the vest's many pockets and buttons and his sturdy shoes, choosing a color for each.
Questions to talk about
- What kind of building do you think is drawn on Architect Taeo's blueprints?
- What would your dream house look like?
- Have you ever seen a very tall or oddly shaped building nearby?
Take it further
Stack blocks or small boxes to build a house you designed, name each room and explain it to Taeo as if he were visiting.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
