Coloring order
- Start with Jinwoo's jacket and long trousers as he walks the bike. A pale sage green jacket and navy trousers suit him well.
- Match the two wheels and the saddle of the basket bike in one color, and give the sneakers a lighter shade of their own.
- Finish the railing on the right, the city buildings across the river, the forsythia at upper left and the scattered petals in yellow and sky blue.
Questions to talk about
- Which way do you think Jinwoo will walk once he stops the bicycle?
- What is the first thing you would want to do in the river breeze?
- Is there a piece of clothing you pull out first when spring comes?
Take it further
Draw three things you would put in the bicycle basket on small scraps of paper, cut them out and glue them into the basket. Your March outing gets packed.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
