Coloring order
- Color Roki's purple body first, then the lightning bolts on its side in lime green or yellow.
- Paint the spring-like posts under the body lime green and the giant wheels dark gray.
- Alternate two grays for the deep tread on the tires, and give the orange lights on the roof a bright color.
Questions to talk about
- Why do you think Roki's wheels are drawn so enormous?
- What sound would you hear when Roki zooms along?
- If you were Roki, what would you jump over first?
Take it further
Trace a round plate to draw giant wheels, cut them out and glue them on a paper body to build your very own monster truck.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
