Questions to talk about
- Is Nari in the middle of a very long run, or almost at the end?
- What views and sounds might you meet running on an early morning road in Kenya?
- Have you ever walked or run for a long time? What did you do when it got hard?
Take it further
Pick a short course on the playground or near home and walk it slowly. Afterward, draw a map from memory of the places you passed.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
