Activity guide for this page

- Ages 4–7
- Estimated time
- 10–20 min

- Areas to color
- about 30
Coloring order
- Begin with Dr. Pip the doctor bunny's knee-length coat. Since it is white, add only a few soft gray or pale blue lines for the folds.
- Color the stethoscope around the neck in pastel blue, and use pink for the round blushing cheeks and the insides of the long ears.
- Finish with the chart and clip tucked in the arm, plus the coat pockets and buttons. Pink suits the chart nicely.
Questions to talk about
- What do you think is written on Dr. Pip's chart?
- What sound might you hear through a stethoscope?
- How did you feel the last time you visited a doctor?
Take it further
Join two cardboard tubes with string to make a toy stethoscope, lay a stuffed toy down, and ask 'Where does it hurt?' just like Dr. Pip.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
