Coloring order
- Paint Jinwoo's baggy cardigan and trousers as he perches at the edge of the porch first, alternating the stripes on the cuffs one band at a time.
- Color the sneakers stretched out in front in cream and the floorboards in two alternating browns, so he pops against the wood.
- Last, lightly color the plum branch hanging in from the upper right, the teapot on the small table and the hazy mountains behind.
Questions to talk about
- What aroma do you think rises from the cup in Jinwoo's hand?
- What scenery might continue beyond the far mountains behind the plum branch?
- Was there a moment at winter's end when you felt spring coming?
Take it further
Cut a small paper coaster and draw plum blossoms on it. Set it beside the page with a cup of tea and your February tea corner is complete.
