Coloring order
- Color all of Frostmaw's fluffy fur gently in pale sky blue, blending it with white.
- Use deep blue for the two small horns on its head and for the eyes of its big smiling face.
- Finish with the round pads on the raised hand and the big foot in gray, and the claws in dark navy.
Questions to talk about
- Frostmaw's hand is up high. Who might it be waving to?
- If its feet are this big, what footprints would they leave in the snow?
- What would you wear to go outside on a very cold winter day?
Take it further
Trace your hand and foot on paper and compare their sizes, then talk about how big Frostmaw's giant foot would be.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
