Coloring order

Start with the big areas: the swinging-open door, Nari's green jacket and her yellow shorts. A bright blue works well for the door.
Give the goggles on Nari's head, her vest pockets and Toto, the round bouncing robot with its wind-up key, different colors so each stands out.
Last, color the hammer, wrench and pliers hanging on the back wall, the boxes on the workbench and the round lamp, one tool at a time.

What do you think Nari saw when she opened the door that made her smile so wide?
Which of the tools on the wall would you like to try first today?
Is there a day you felt butterflies in your tummy at a place you had never been?

Take it further

Picture the first day of an invention club and make up a name for an invention you want to build. Draw it and a name tag on a small piece of paper and stick them beside the page.
