- Medium
- Areas to color
- about 80
Coloring order
- Color Splash's red body and yellow belly, and use pale gray for the long rotor blades on top.
- Give the round bucket hanging from a line under the helicopter a big blue fill, and color the line and the skids black or navy.
- Alternate two greens on the pointed trees in the forest below, and finish with the little smoke far away in gray.
Questions to talk about
- Where do you think Splash filled its bucket with water?
- What will Splash do when it sees the smoke far away?
- How can we use water carefully?
Take it further
Over a basin, pour water between two small cups without spilling any. Carry it carefully, just like Splash with its bucket.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
