- Easy
- Areas to color

Coloring order
- Color the wide ocean first with two blues, dark and light. Alternating them like waves makes the sea look deeper.
- Color the land shapes poking out of the ocean in green and light green, and leave the puffy clouds white and unpainted.
- Color the Moon floating at the top right light gray, its little craters darker gray, and the stars yellow.
Questions to talk about
- Earth has one Moon. Can you point to where it is in the picture?
- Green land or blue ocean: which one would you most like to visit?
- Have you ever looked at clouds and said what shape they looked like?
Take it further
Cut a circle from blue paper, tear green paper into land shapes and glue them on for your own Earth, then add a small gray circle as the Moon.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
