Coloring order
- Leave Taejun's white taekwondo uniform blank, and start with the black belt around his waist and the black on the collar.
- Color the hair, the tight fists and the bare feet one by one, and give the serious, focused face clear lines.
- Last, color the two pieces of wooden board flying in the air brown, adding wood grain.
Questions to talk about
- Where is Taejun's high kick headed?
- What sound might the board make as it splits into two pieces?
- Have you practiced a new move until you could do it?
Take it further
Fold a long strip of paper into a belt, then follow the teacher's call and slowly punch both arms forward. Keep plenty of space between friends.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
