Coloring order

Begin with Chef Pobi's red body as one big area, then the green wheel covers and the bumper below.
Color the striped awning over the serving window in alternating yellow and red, and the window itself in pale yellow.
Finish with the tall white chef's hat on the roof, the big eyes and the smile.

Questions to talk about

What dish might be cooking inside Chef Pobi's window?
Why do you think Pobi's hat is so tall and round?
If you ran a food truck, what would you name it?

Take it further

Draw your own truck's name and a picture menu on a sheet of paper for a sign, then take pretend orders from friends by pointing at the pictures.

Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.

Printing and coloring tips

Print on A4 or Letter in portrait to keep the original proportions.
Keep the finished version open beside you while you color.
Use slightly heavier paper with water-based markers so the ink shows through less.
Fill the large areas first and leave the small ones for later.
The finished version is only a suggestion. Any colors you like will work.
