Coloring order

Color the layered waterfalls and cliffs sky blue and gray, the pines on top green and the wooden bridge on the right brown. You can do the big background one day and the dragon the next.
Mix turquoise and mint on Rivermist's pebble-like scales and use pearl white for the chest and belly. Color the flowing mane and the large tail fin sky blue, with coral only on the edges.
Color the droplet-tipped horns and webbed feet cobalt. Finish with gray, moss-spotted river stones, blue flowing water and green grass blades at the bottom.

Take it further

Set a few small stones in a tray like stepping stones, pour water over them from a cup, and watch how the water flows around them.
