Coloring order
- First, color the huge bubble Nari stretches with two sticks and a string. Blend light blue, pink and light green for a rainbow shimmer.
- Color Toto floating inside the bubble, and Nari's green jacket, vest and yellow shorts as she lifts her arms high.
- Last, take the small bubbles, the garden flowers, the wooden fence and the round tub of water one at a time.
Questions to talk about
- How do you think Toto feels floating inside the bubble?
- Where do you think Toto will land when the bubble pops?
- Have you ever chased bubbles around?
Take it further
Spread your arms wide like a giant bubble and draw big circles in the air. Outdoors with a grown-up, you can blow real bubbles too.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
