- Areas to color
- about 35
Coloring order
- Start with badminton player Doyun's blue shirt with yellow stripes and the navy shorts, as big areas.
- Take the round frame and strings of the raised racket, the curly hair and the orange shoes one at a time.
- On the falling shuttlecock at the lower left, separate the white feathers from the brown head, and color the shadow on the ground light brown.
Questions to talk about
- Where is Doyun trying to send the shuttlecock from the air?
- How does a shuttlecock look different from a ball?
- Have you ever jumped up high? How did your body feel?
Take it further
Cut feather shapes from colored paper and glue them to a paper cup to make a shuttlecock. Drop it and talk about how it spins.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
