Coloring order
- Color Eve's long wavy hair and her leaf-patterned skirt first, then give the sleeves and underskirt a soft cream.
- Give each piece of fruit in the hip basket its own color, and make the butterfly near her reaching hand bright and clear.
- Finish the white blossoms on the vines, the bird and butterflies up high, the waterfall and the big jar, one small space at a time.
Questions to talk about
- Is Eve trying to touch the butterfly, or is she calling it over?
- Who would you like to share the fruit in this basket with?
- Have you ever picked a flower or a fruit yourself?
Take it further
Think of the Garden of Eden in Genesis 2 and draw a garden you would love to tend. Add flowers, some fruit and an animal friend to share it with.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
