Coloring order

  1. Color the glass walls of Lotte World Tower, which narrow as they rise, in sky blue. Long top-to-bottom strokes give an even, smooth finish.
  2. Use pale beige on the vertical seam running down the middle and the bands that cross the building every few floors, so they stand apart from the glass.
  3. Finish with the split, pointed tip at the very top and the windows of the wide building at the base. Color a few windows yellow to show rooms with the lights on.

Questions to talk about

  • What does the split tip at the top remind you of?
  • What would you like to find on the top floor of such a tall building?
  • What buildings can you see from the windows of your home?

Take it further

Lotte World Tower is a very tall building in Jamsil, Seoul. Stack paper boxes or blocks into a tower that gets narrower as it goes up, then count together how many pieces you used.

Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
