Coloring order
- Start with Barnaby the barista bunny's long apron that reaches his knees. Try a leafy green like the color reference.
- Color the bow tie, the little buttons and the tiny heart on the apron bib, and give the rolled-up sleeve cuffs a different shade from the shirt.
- Finish with the carrot on the mug in his paws, the heart-shaped latte art on top and the three wisps of steam.
Questions to talk about
- What drink do you think is in Barnaby's mug?
- Who might the little heart on his apron be for?
- When has someone handed you a warm drink?
Take it further
Draw your own design on a paper cup to make a 'bunny cafe' cup, then take turns ordering and serving each other in a pretend cafe game.
Age and time are rough guides for a child coloring alone with pencils or crayons; every child is different. The area count is an estimate counted from the line-art image.
