World Food Coloring Pages
20 printable coloring pages of famous dishes from around the world, each with its table setting: Italian pizza, Korean bibimbap, Japanese sushi, Mexican tacos, a French croissant breakfast, an American burger, Indian curry and naan, Chinese dim sum, Vietnamese pho and a Turkish kebab. Children learn country and dish names as they color, which makes the set handy for world culture days. Each dish comes as a pair: a color reference and black-and-white line art to print.
20 pages Open a title to see the finished version and the line art side by side.
Ways to use this collection
Ten famous dishes from around the world, each drawn with its table and setting. The Italian pizza sits in a kitchen with olive oil bottles, the Korean bibimbap in a busy restaurant, the French croissant at a cobblestone café and the Turkish kebab on a terrace above the sea, so every page invites a conversation about the place as well as the food.
Activity ideas
- Put up a world map and stick each finished dish on its country to build a world food map; children remember country names and locations together.
- Ask which food groups are inside each dish, then sort the ingredients onto the food balance wheel: flour (grains), cheese (dairy) and tomato (vegetables) for the pizza.
- Let each family choose a country they would like to visit, color its dish and write how to say “enjoy your meal” in that country’s language under the picture.
Tip Before you start, agree not to call any food “weird,” and invite children to share dishes they eat at home; children from multicultural families join in more easily.
