Road and Sea Job Coloring Pages
14 coloring pages of characters working in road and sea — human characters and animal characters alike. Every job brings its own uniform and tools, so there is plenty to color. Each comes as a pair: a color reference and printable line art.
14 pages Open a title to see the finished version and the line art side by side.
Ways to use this collection
People and animals who work on roads, rails, skies and seas are in this set: Percy the pilot pelican, Barnacle the captain sea lion, pilot Haram, a marine diver and a train driver. They cover air, water and rail travel, so the pages pair well with a lesson on transportation where jobs and vehicles come up together.
Activity ideas
- Vote on whether to travel by plane, ship, train or dive under the sea, color the matching worker, and write one line each for the destination and the packing list.
- Color pelican pilot Percy and human pilot Haram side by side and find three ways they are alike and three ways they differ.
- Line up chairs as a train, swap between driver and passengers while announcing the departure, and stand the colored page up as a station sign.
Tip When using these in a vehicle-safety lesson, ask each child to name one safety rule after coloring; 15 to 20 minutes per page is enough.
