Making and Nature Job Coloring Pages
20 coloring pages of characters working in making and nature — human characters and animal characters alike. Every job brings its own uniform and tools, so there is plenty to color. Each comes as a pair: a color reference and printable line art.

Ways to use this collection
Ten makers and nature keepers are collected here: Henry the gardener hedgehog, Benny the architect beaver, an architect, a florist, a park ranger, a farmer, a carpenter, a potter at the wheel and Haeun the greenhouse gardener. Tools and materials differ from job to job, so browns, greens and flower colors all get plenty of use.
Activity ideas
- After coloring Benny and the carpenter, build a small house from empty milk cartons or paper boxes and make up a story about who will live there.
- Let every child color the florist's flowers in different colors, then add cut-paper blossoms to build one big class bouquet.
- Color Henry, the farmer and the ranger, then ask what a plant needs to grow and act out planting a seed in a pot together.
Tip Swapping real saws and soil for paper crafts keeps things safe; allow 20 minutes per page, or about 50 minutes if you add the craft.
