Activity ideas
- Limit Marina to blues, teals and coral, and Lolly to pink, purple and mint, then compare how a small palette changes each scene's mood.
- Stick the princesses onto one large sheet like a map of their homelands, such as sea, clouds, desert, ice and bamboo, and say which land you would visit and why.
- Place the snowflake ice princess beside the desert star princess and draw in the margins the hats or shoes each would need for a cold land and a hot one.
Tip These scenes have wide backgrounds and take about 40 minutes, so let beginners color only the princess and gown first and save the background for another session.
