Rockets and Spacecraft Coloring Pages
8 space-themed coloring pages on rockets and spacecraft. Bold smooth lines and large closed areas suit seven-year-olds. Each page comes as a pair, a color reference and black-and-white line art to print, so you can follow the colors or choose your own. Handy for space lessons.

Ways to use this collection
Four scenes follow a smiling rocket from launch to landing: one on the launch pad, one circling Earth, one heading for ringed Saturn, and a capsule floating back to the sea under a striped parachute. Each page has its own things to color, from the launch tower and puffy smoke clouds to a satellite, the moon and ocean waves.
Activity ideas
- Line the four pages up as launch, orbit, exploration and return, then let children add one sentence per page to tell the story of the whole rocket trip.
- Color the parachute on the capsule page red and yellow, then make a small paper parachute with string, hang a light tissue ball from it and drop it from chair height to watch it fall.
- Color each stripe of Saturn's big ring a different color, then pass the story around: what might the little rocket see when it gets close to Saturn?
Tip The Saturn rocket has the fewest shapes and makes a good first page, while the capsule return has many parachute and sea shapes, so give it extra time.
