Long-necked Dinosaur Coloring Pages
6 printable coloring pages of original long-necked dinosaurs, each with its own name and species and drawn to keep the real animal's silhouette. Every dinosaur comes as a pair: a color reference and black-and-white line art to print. Follow the palette or pick your own.

Ways to use this collection
Nimbusaur the Brachiosaurus, Canyonspine the Amargasaurus and Sunneck the Diplodocus are three original characters, each as a color reference and a line drawing, six pages in all. Long necks and tails flow through each body, which suits practicing color that follows a line, and the easy Sunneck page lets younger children begin too.
Activity ideas
- Tape the pages together vertically on a wall and stand beside them to imagine how high the neck would reach, without settling on exact heights.
- Shade along the neck with gradual color changes from head to tail, so one color shifts slowly down the whole body.
- Ask what a long-necked dinosaur could see and reach up high, then hunt for high spots in the classroom that you need a long neck to reach.
Tip Print all three at the same size and hang them in a row to compare neck length easily; Sunneck, the easy page, is fine from age 4.
