Spaceship Coloring Pages
14 printable coloring pages of spaceships drawn as characters. Each one has a name and a job, so there is something to talk about while coloring. The line art is 300 DPI, sized for full-page printing. Each comes as a pair: a color reference and black-and-white line art.

Ways to use this collection
Seven spacecraft with names that hint at where they are headed: Luna the moon-bound rocket, Rusty the Mars lander, Orbit the winged space glider, and Pebble the asteroid research ship. Saturnia explores a ringed planet, Scope is a deep-space telescope ship, and Comet delivers mail by comet.
Activity ideas
- Draw a circle for each destination (the Moon, Mars, an asteroid, a ringed planet) on a big sheet and place each colored spacecraft beside its target.
- Imagine who Comet delivers letters to and what they say, then write a short postcard; if writing is tough, one drawing will do.
- Before coloring Rusty, guess what color the ground on Mars might be, then check a book or photo and choose the ground color from what you find.
Tip When you color the background deep navy, leave a few stars as bare white paper; it gives a real space feel and takes about 20 minutes per page.
