Dragon Scene Coloring Pages
8 coloring pages of baby dragons in storybook habitats: a volcano hideout with a campfire, an undersea coral reef, a fairy forest with a mushroom house and a meadow under a giant rainbow. They give more to color than a dragon alone, and each scene comes as a pair: a color reference and black-and-white line art to print.

Ways to use this collection
These scenes show where baby dragons live: Volcano by its volcano hideout, Corally in a coral reef, Sylva in a fairy forest and Rainbow on a hill under a big rainbow. With smoke and a little campfire, bubbles and seaweed, a tree with a door and mushrooms, and a smiling sun, every background gives you a new set of colors to choose.
Activity ideas
- Talk first about which colors suit a volcano, an underwater reef, a forest and a rainbow hill, then let each child pick one scene and compare their color choices afterward.
- Who lives behind the little door in Sylva's tree trunk? After coloring, pass the story around and add one sentence each about what happens inside the door.
- After coloring Volcano's scene, tear yellow, orange and red paper and glue it on to stretch the sunset sky and the volcano smoke out beyond the page.
Tip These scenes have many background shapes, so for children five and up do not expect a single sitting: color the sky, the ground and then the dragon over two sessions.
