Ways to use this collection
Four legends of mountain and forest sit in this set: Frostmaw the yeti, Keenshade the banshee with flowing hair, Terragrom the mossy rock golem and Mosshide the leaf-furred bigfoot. White fur, streaming hair, stone and foliage are so different in texture that comparing them is half the fun.
Activity ideas
- Leave Frostmaw mostly white and add only pale blue and violet shadows in the fur so it looks like it stands in snow.
- Split Terragrom into brown-orange rocks and green moss, set it beside Mosshide, and talk about which one looks more like the forest.
- Pick one of the four, decide what your first greeting would be if you met it on a mountain path or in the woods, and act it out with a partner.
Tip Dense fur and hair lines are easier with fine-tipped pencils; start with light colors and add the darker ones at the end.
