Ways to use this collection
Seventeen Genesis scenes, including Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, Noah and the rainbow after the ark, Abraham and the promise of the stars, Sarah welcoming guests, Joseph and his coat of many colors, Jacob's ladder dream and Rebekah watering the camels. Isaac, Noah, Abraham, and Joseph each appear in more than one scene, so the pages are easy to line up in story order.
Activity ideas
- When coloring Noah's rainbow, paint the seven colors in order from the inside out, then ask whether anyone has seen a rainbow after rain.
- Color each patch of Joseph's coat differently, then draw a coat you would give to one family member and hand it over like a gift.
- Next to the Abraham stars page, make a night sky from black paper and star stickers and see how many stars you can count together.
Tip The scenes run in story order, so color three or four a month and pin them up in sequence for a Genesis timeline; ages 5 and under can start with Noah.
